Magnolia Antiques in the Media...
The October 2004 Antiques Roadshow Insider magazine interviewed us about oyster plates, and spotlighted one of our plates, recommending this site as a resource.
Nancy Clark Brand's article "A History of Oyster Plates" was featured in the January 2004 edition of the Northeast Journal of Antiques and Art. To view the article, click here.
...and on the Lecture
Circuit
February 5 - 8,
2006, Nancy instructed a class on identifying and marketing
oyster plates for the Antique & Collectible National Association
Educational Symposium. For more information, go to
www.acna.us.
At the 16th Annual Norfolk Scope Antique Show January 24-25, 2004, Nancy Clark Brand gave an hour-long lecture entitled "Collecting Oyster Plates."

Common Concern:
When we ship our oyster plates, they are cushioned in bubble wrap and both the
plates and sturdy cardboard box are taped. None of our plates have EVER
been damaged in transit: not even when we take them to
antique shows!
All plates listed on this site are MINT CONDITION and ANTIQUE unless otherwise indicated--reproduction plates are distinctly labeled!
